On-site Procedures at Waste Generator’s premises

Following international trends in the management of hazardous waste, INTERGEO designs and implements, where appropriate, techniques for the treatment and neutralisation of hazardous waste (liquid and solid). This reduces the volume of waste, improves its qualitative properties and facilitates its final disposal.

These techniques can be applied in the premises of the waste generator, thereby limiting the risks arising from the waste transportation as well as the resulting costs.

The techniques our company normally uses, are based on biological and physico-chemical methods.

The final design of the neutralisation procedure takes place after the necessary chemical analyses of the waste and pilot applications at the company’s facilities.

The application of the above techniques can be applied on a wide range of hazardous waste such as:

Organic load sludges from waste oil treatment plants

Inorganic load and heavy metal sludges from waste water treatment plants

Solid filtration materials in wastewater treatment plants

Liquid waste with petroleum products (Soap oils and emulsions)

Overburdened soil by petroleum products (mainly from excavations)

Overburdened soil by heavy metals

Waste treatment and neutralisation is based on the extensive knowledge and experience of both the Greek and parent company. All the necessary technology and mobile equipment is available from INTERGEO.
