Geological / Hydrogeological & Geotechnical surveys and studies

Leading Presence in the Geotechnical Projects Sector

Since 1997, the company has been successfully active in the field of geotechnical works, providing a wide range of geotechnical services to both public and private entities.

High Quality Geotechnical Project Services

The high degree of training combined with the experience and expertise of the employed scientific and technical staff are a guarantee of technical services of high quality and reliability in accordance with Greek and International Standards and Specifications, in order to meet the requirements and the ever-increasing needs of technical projects.

The main objective of the geotechnical branch of the company is the preparation of integrated geological/hydrogeological and geotechnical evaluations, investigations and studies in the context of a wide range of technical projects such as:

Technical Infrastructure Projects

  • Road and railway works (embankments, trenches, technical bridges, underground structures – tunnels, other civil engineering works, etc.)
  • Foundations and retaining walls for buildings and other installations
  • Landfill of waste (landfills)
  • Areas for urban development (studies of residential suitability, etc.)

Hydraulic Works and Hydrogeology

  • Hydraulic works (dams, reservoirs, etc.)
  • Hydrogeological drilling – Test pumping – Water sampling (Planning, Monitoring, Treatment and Evaluation)
  • Special Hydrogeological Work
  • Mathematical Models for Groundwater Simulation / Contaminant Dispersion Simulation
  • Water resources management research-study
  • Assessment of Groundwater Supply

Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Evaluation of Traces

Advanced Equipment and Technological Infrastructure

In order to achieve the primary objective, which is to successfully respond to the construction needs, we have created a modern infrastructure of proprietary drilling equipment for the execution of geotechnical surveys required in the context of design studies.

In this way, an independent and flexible scheme is formed, which ensures continuity and homogeneity from the first to the last stage of preparation (design-research-evaluation) and guarantees efficiency.

Drilling Equipment and Specialised Testing

More specifically, geotechnical investigations include:

  • Small and large diameter sample drilling
  • Drilling of small and large-scale exploratory wells
  • Execution of small and large-scale drilling and borehole drilling of small and large diameter wells, large and small diameter wells, large and small diameter drilling of small and large diameter wells
  • In situ soil density determination using the disturbed & undisturbed sample method
  • LEFRANC or MAAG permeability tests
  • LUGEON injection test
  • Penetration test (STANDARD PENETRATION TEST)

A key role in the successful execution of studies is played by the availability of computer systems, office machines and modern software.

Continuous Modernization of Software and Infrastructure

Αt Intergeo Hellas , recognizing the very important contribution of this factor, is in a state of continuous modernization of its infrastructure in terms of office machines and specialised software, making it able to meet the ever-increasing needs of geotechnical design of engineering projects.
