Chemical / Environmental Engineer
We’re willing to hire a Chemical/ Εnvironmental Engineer for the position of the Project Implementation Manager.
Job description & Responsibilities:
- Planning and coordination of waste management projects
- Supervision of the implementation of field work.
- Ensuring that projects adhere to schedules and budgeted costs.
- Team Managing and coordinating of subcontractors.
- Liaising with local authorities, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
- Manage permits and approvals required for project implementation.
- Being updated on developments in the field of waste management and incorporating innovative solutions into projects.
- Monitoring and evaluation of Project Performance KPIs.
Required Qualifications
- University degree (Chemical or Environmental Engineering). Relevant postgraduate studies will be positively appreciated
- Experience in environmental projects
- Computer Skills (MS OFFICE)
- Excellent use of English language (written & spoken)
- Fulfilled military obligations.
- Driving License.
- Hardworking, with team spirit, good work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to manage projects and coordinate teams
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing conditions and requirements
- Good Communication and Negotiation Skills
- Ability to travel and stay overnight

Civil Engineer
INTERGEO Environmental Technology Ltd., based in Thermi, Thessaloniki, is a subsidiary of the multinational INTERGEO Umwelttechnologie und Abfallwirtschaft GmbH, which is active in the field of geo-environmental studies and projects, specializing in the remediation of polluted soils and groundwater and in the management of hazardous waste.
In the context of the continuous development of our group, we wish to recruit:
Civil Engineer who will work at the company’s headquarters in Thermi, Thessaloniki.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in project management, field project supervision, project design and costing
- Experience in organizing work at height and using construction machinery will be appreciated
- Holder of a car driver’s license
- Computer knowledge (MS Office) (certification desired).
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Fulfilled military obligations.

Job Description
- Monitoring and participation in all stages of implementation of projects for the dismantling of asbestos materials, namely:
- Making autopsies in the field, organizing the construction site, managing of the proper execution execution of the project.
- Preparation of environmental and technical studies, organization, planning and management of projects until their completion.
- Supervision of asbestos dismantling projects, and compliance with health and safety conditions on construction sites.
- Participation in complicated and large projects, problem solving and exploring new practices and methods to improve work.
- Cooperation with major customers in Greece and abroad, participation in meetings and informative conferences.
- Communication with Greek and international bodies for the organization of waste disposal and obtaining certificates.

- Very good knowledge of English
Desirable skills:
- Knowledge of the Ubiquity Networks management environment and basic networking and security principles
- Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory

Job Description:
