Collection & Transportation of Hazardous Waste

INTERGEO has been licensed since 2008 for the nationwide collection of hazardous waste, licensed by the ministry of environment.

Based on its licensing, INTERGEO is allowed to transport all types of hazardous waste, provided they do not come from health units, have no explosive, infectious or radioactive nature and are not covered by Collective Alternative Waste Management Systems. (eg used mineral oils, batteries / accumulators etc.)

Our company has a fully equipped fleet of vehicles, suitably trained staff and operates with specialised partners to collect hazardous waste from all over Greece, pursuant to our customers’ requirements.

For the shipment of hazardous waste, the requirements of the ADR and IMDG Code for the transport of dangerous goods by road and sea apply.

Furthermore, INTERGEO has a fully developed network of cooperations with licensed recipients of hazardous waste both in Greece and abroad so as to be able to provide integrated management services for all types of hazardous waste in accordance with the provisions of Greek and European legislation.
